The unwilling star witness was Martin Shkreli, the former head of Turing Pharmaceuticals who was responsible for the company’s decision to raise the price of Daraprim, used to treat toxoplasmosis, a parasitic infection that affects HIV patients, from $13.50 to $750 a pill. [Continued
